For 12 years, the DC Shorts Film Festival has presented the best short films from around the globe. Now, watch the ones that did not make the cut in an interactive evening of jeering in misery — and cheering for victory.
A selection of rejected films will play to our enthusiastic (and hopefully tipsy) audience. At the 3-minute mark, a light will shine and the audience may jeer to stop watching any more, or cheer to save the film for later consideration. At the end of the evening, one lucky film will be saved and programmed into September’s main festival.

While there is garage parking nearby, we recommend checking for the closing time — some lots shut down before the last show will end (11:30pm). Limited metered street parking is available.
